Driving Change in the Public Sector

The Effect of Analyses and Advice

The public sector is under constant pressure. Citizens push for an increase in the quality of public service, and budget constraints push for a decrease in spending. The public sector has to meet both needs – but how can this be done?

One way of accommodating the twofold pressure is through efficiency and modernization. This demands for profound analysis to gain the needed knowledge for designing initiatives to capture the potential in the public sector.

But how to approach and drive efficiency and modernization in the public sector? Which tools can consultancies bring to the table in helping to improve efficiency? And what role does the political context around the process play?

On April 3, The Ministry of Finance and Struensee & Co. will shed light on these issues and provide valuable insights from their respective work.
